Need help on choosing a good 3D Blu Ray player than can connect Denon AVR3310 receiver and a LG...

I have a Denon AVR3310CI 7.1-Channel 1.3a receiver which is not a 3d Receiver. But I do have a LG 3D TV. Can I use this Panasonic DMP-BDT-500 to connect to my receiver as well as to my TV for playing 3D movies? I know DMP-BDT-310 can do this. But can we achieve the same results with this? Also which one is better? 310 or 500? I am not seeing much of 310 anymore. Is there any specific reason?

Please help.

does the 500 have dual HDMI output? The 310 is a slightly older model...

The BDT500 does have Dual HDMI outputs. The BDT310 does as well but, as mentioned, it is discontinued and replaced with the BDT320. The Dual HDMI output feature was unfortunately dropped from the BDP320. I would go with the BDT310 on price or the BDT500 for newer streaming features and newer Netflix interface, just depending on your priorities. Another option, though a compromise on absolute picture quality, would be any of the Panasonic 3D players utilizing the SBS output feature which can pass through HDMI 1.3 AVRs with audio. I'm currently using this approach, though with a 720p 3D Projector, so the loss of resolution isn't critical for me.

PS3 with Harmony IR adapter, by far superior to all else, just the power of the processor inside the PS3 is worth it. Not a gamer at all, use it only for Netflix, Vudu, and Amazon and LOVE IT!

Get it now before the PS3 SuperSlim is released, it will be a HT disaster with the hand-gliding Atari style disc bay cover.

unfortunately the PS3 has cinevia, plus the firmware updates are annoying. id go for a stand alone unit.
