Epson 3020: Can't find LCD convergence alignment menu

I bought an Epson 3020 last week... Had to return it due to a convergence issue. I tried fixing the issue by adjusting the LCD alignment, but couldn't get it close enough.

So, I exchanged it for a new one and the LCD alignment looks very good but wanted to see how it looked with the alignment grid. BUT, I can't find the dang alignment menu! On the original unit, I found it under the "extended" settings menu, but it does not appear on this one....!

Am I missing something or just going crazy?

I couldn't find it in mine either, but I didn't search extensively. Could it have been removed in newer firmware (assuming it was there in the past)?

Search the 3010 thread.
You probably needed to toggle some bits in the service menu to show the alignment menu.

That did it! I now have the LCD adjustment setting in the extended menu...
