My Christmas present to myself, a V700, arrived from Amazon on December 24th. So far, everything I have observed is the same as others here have already noted... but I must say I love that zoom!
I'm an amateur when it comes to anything related to photography, so please bear with me. I want to take indoor close-up still pictures. Previously, with a stills-only camera, if I increased the exposure time, decreased the iris and placed the camera on a bean bag, I could get very good low-light photos with everything (foreground to background) all in focus. At least I think that was what I was doing.
This is probably Photography For Dummies, but I assume I can do this with the V700 by manually slowing the shutter and closing down the iris. Has anyone tried this?
Thanks, John
