Hello all,

I have a Lg 55LH40 that has a USB port on the side. I'm wondering if I can put a video on a thumb drive and have it play on my TV. I'd like to have a fish tank or fireplace. Would it need the software to play the video? Any easy solutions to this?

I did a quick search, and am getting mixed reviews on whether or not it can play videos. The LG website says it's only for pictures and audio, however some people are saying you can enable Divx playback somewhere in the menu. If that's the case, the video would have to be re-encoded to a divx codec, which is weird because most tv's should play h.264.
