Advice on 46-47" LED...Sony hx850, Samsung 7100, or Other?

i want to get my wife (and me of course!) a new led to replace our 8 year old 37 inch aquos in our bedroom. we'd like 'smart' tv features, connectivity and of course a great image. we don't really care about 3d but it looks like that is part of the equation on any of the higher end sets, and we also don't care about sound (use a zvox soundbar). i've heard good things about the sony hx850 and samsung 7100 lines, but would appreciate some advice if there are others we are looking at as well. price does count a bit, but i understand these high end screens are all pretty pricey. thanks!!
