Implementing a third sub...new Funk Audio Rack amp pics... - Page 2

Question about flattening the frequency response with REW. I'm using the "Right Channel" for all my measurements, and my two DIY Subs are each under their respective left and right bookshelves.

Always had a nagging question about trying to use REW for the FR this way. I.e., is it correct to try and match the frequency response to either a left or a right speaker, especially when you have a sub under each? I.e., wouldn't there be some inherent delay to the sub on the left side if in fact the right channel is used by REW to measure?

I'm kind of wondering if that is why I need an extra 3 feet of delay to my left sub compared to my right sub? Unless I missed it, REW appears to only let you run the sweeps on the right or the left front channel, not both.

E.g., here is the difference in the response when I measure using the left channel vs when I measure using the right channel... (x-over at 120Hz, Audyssey is not being used)

They now have a circuit breaker power switch, in addition to the auto signal sensing on/off that works very well(and can be user configured to work best for you).

PS; All the componants we use are UL/CSA approved.

You should also know that using UL/CSA approved components does not make the complete amp UL/CSA listed. It is Listing that affirms the safety protection of the final product. This is not an easy or cheap proposition. The amp must be submitted for safety testing and thousands of dollars paid. I know because I am in the middle of it on my sub amps, including my new rack mount amps.
