New Polk surround setup

I have been looking at getting a starter 5.1 system. I was initially looking at the Energy Take Classic 5.1 since it was pretty cheap but decided I could get (4) Polk Monitor 30's (1) Polk CS1 and (1) PSW10 and have a better setup for not much more. I eventually want to upgrade the fronts/center and possibly just go with the PSW505 instead of the PSW10. I guess my question is: Should I spend the extra and get the PSW505 and will the CS2 work well with the Monitor 30's until i get better fronts? Also, I have been looking at the Yamaha RX-V373BL for a receiver. My room setup is about 15' x 30' (living room/dining room) with my couch about 13' from my 42" Philips. Thanks for the input.

Whatever you do, do not get the PSW10 Subwoofer. That thing is pathetic and you will not be happy.
The CS2 (black) can be had on Newegg right now for $99. (free shipping)
Yes the CS2 will work with the 30's.

I would spend the extra on the CS2 and the PSW505. The CS2 at Newegg was $99, but it, and the Monitor 30's are sold out at the Newegg site. Amazon still has a few CS2 units and Monitor 30's.
Get the CS2 while you can still find them. The Polk ebay store is a good place to shop also: http://stores.ebay.com/Polk-Audio-Direct
The CS2 would be a good voice/timbre match for the Monitor 30.

I just went on Newegg and am at the secure checkout page and it has said nothing about it being sold out. I have the A4 so Im not wanting to buy, just double checking on it being sold out. Looks like you can get it for $99 right now. I may be missing something..

Thanks for the advice. I already ordered the (4) monitor 30's and I will go ahead and get the CS2. I will just wait and get the PSW505 when it goes on sale again unless anyone can recommend a comparable sub. What would be a good upgrade to the monitor 30's? I was thinking either the monitor 40's or even the monitor 70's.

I think with the Yamaha receiver the monitor 70's would be a bit underpowered. The M60's would be as far as I would go with the Yamaha and that is pushing it. The 40's would be a pretty good upgrade adding another 5 1/4" driver.
