BP96-01103A

So Far I have tried two BP96-01103A colowheels.None have worked!! They seem ready to go but do not work. The orginal still works!! It is screatchy and producen noises compatible with a failing color wheel. So my question:

Why do so called new BP96-01103A colorwheels fail?
AS allways the new one fails,the old one successed. WHY!!

Yes the two color wheels are from the same source. I am happy that PartStore refunded my money; they gave me no problems. My guess is, the color wheels were originally manufactured about 10 years ago and may not initially work. Otherwise the color wheels appeared to be in excellent condition.
