Thread Starter
Has anyone tried HD Fury 3 using a stand alone Dvd Recorder ?

I own a ( Sony HRD HX 9000 Stand Alone Dvd Recorder .
This is one of those Rare Stand Alone Hard Drive Dvd Recorders with
Component ( In Puts )

( Would the following Set-Up Work With HDFury 3 )
( HDFury 3 With VGA To RCA Component Adapter Cable )

LG BluRay Player HDMI output to HDFury 3 HDMI input

HDFury 3 RCA Component output to Stand Alone Dvd Recorder Component input

Dvd Recorder Component output to LCD Tv Set .

i want to record what my LG BluRay Player Streams like YouTube
or Vudu .

Has Anyone Tried Using HDFury 3 In This Way ?

Can Anyone Help...

The fact aside that this might be illegal in your country, you would have to set your BD player to 480i output, since your Sony will only record interlaced SD. The HDF is not a downscaler, just a D/A converter unit. Not all BD players can output 480i through HDMI. Of course you'd lose all HD benefits by doing this.
