Living with today's badly made electronics equipment is getting more difficult by the day. I have the 60" Sharp and it is truly a POS. Picture quality before setup was dismal, and after using some of the pro setups here at the forum it has improved to below average. I have a chronic problem with it finding my HDMI Blu-ray player that is maddeningly intermittent. Yes, I changed cables, did firmware updates but still it persists. The cloudiness of the picture is ridiculous and the color rendition is, for the want of a better word, plastic. The corporate clowns who are overseeing our extinction as a species are making sure they bleed us of every penny buying this kind of worthless crap before we go. In the future, we won't have to take a new TV home, but just stick it brand new in a dumpster as it's garbage from day one.
It's time to start watching the night skies as the ancients did. It's a free show, with no over priced cable hookup, no faulty HDMI connections, no stupid corporate advertisements, no pollution and best of all, no child in the third world has to work in a sweatshop to build it.

Hadn't noticed that.
