Best 3d glasses for Panasonic 65" st50?

Hi, I'm completely new to 3D. I picked up some monster vision max 3d glasses to use with my st50 plasma. At first use, I was not impressed, the 3d didn't pop out and the glasses seemed to turn on and off, despite the transmitter showing all green. It could have been that they were not charged, but idk. I'm able to return these if there are better units available for my TV. Money is not really an issue, I just want the picture to look the best it can. Any help or suggestions are much appreciated, thanks for reading.

in the same boat as you, most of the recommendations I saw are just for the latest panny glasses . I ordered some earlier today, so I haven't seen them for myself yet outside of the showroom floor demo.

I think I'll return the monsters and get the pannys. Does BB carry them? Thanks, this 3d stuff is getting to be more complicated than it is worth it. I'm about to say screw it and just watch 2D

FYI, I bought some Panasonic glasses. Night and day difference. There must have been something wrong with the monster visions I had. With the panasonics, the 3d is actually there and looks really good. Also it took a matter of seconds to sync up, highly recommend the panasonics

i watched underworld awakenng and the avengers the other day in 3d with the glasses i posted the link above with. they work great with the panny 55st50 plasma set. the glasses are a tad bit heavy, but i guess thats to be expected with an active shutter set. watched 2 movies on a single charge. 8/10 stars.

3D Glasses Unlimited has a pair called Quantum G5 which will work.

I have a Samsung 2012 3d plasma, but the glasses are all the same.

In my collection I now have several pairs of samsung glasses, a pair of the panny's and a pair of the G7 kids model.

The panny's and the Sammy's work equally as well as far as performance. The panny's do slightly better at rejecting background light than the sammy's, however they seem a little small top to bottom.

The G7's add a slightly warming characteristic to the picture. My only dig on them is that the frames are white which is distracting.

I would like to try the G7's in a darker shade frame, but the Sammy's are hard to beat for the $$.

They work very well for me, easy to charge, hold a long charge, and sync with no effort automatically when you turn them on. I have a Panasonic 65st50 plasma
