Sony Ruby VW-100

Hi,

My Ruby the white seem to be yellowish. May I know what's problem could this be.

Lamp hours around 500+.

I have another Ruby as spare which only problem is picture very flat no contrast. So I can remove parts from this set if it is any board problem.

Before looking at hardware repairs, I would go for some color calibration.
Your color shift may come from the LCD panels becoming older, but a proper calibration may be enough to compensate.

Hi,

Thanks and I will give it a try tonight.

BTW is there a full factory re-set mode at the Factory Service Mode menu?

Could not find a "global factory reset" (although it seems dubious there is not one hidden some place, for exclusive use by Sony technicians), but you can reset many things to factory settings using the "Reset" button on the remote.
See the VPL-VW100 User Manual p43 :
