multi disc cd players

HI,
i apologise upfront for this silly question.is there any such thing as a multi disc cd player that can play homemade cds as well as mp3 cds.i just dicovered that my old multi cd player could not play mp3 cds.i have being using my dvd player for playing my cds the last few years.i think i would like to get back to using a multi cd player,if they even make those anymore? thanks alot!

My understanding is that typically, CD players will play home-burned audio CDs, but not MP3s. But my knowledge on this is several years old, and maybe the CD player makers have caught up. Best thing to do is just search on an electronics site like jr.com and read the product descriptions.
