So much sex! eek.gif lol
I'm starting to have a crush on Carrie Hopewell played by Ivana Milicevic. That masturbation scene in the bathtub biggrin.gif

It was silly of Carrie to drive away rather than go upstairs as she saw another women leaving Hood's place. She has a husband and just had sex with him, I would think it would be OK for Hood to fool around with women. Both of their flash backs though, you can definitely tell they still have a thing for each other.

Good episode tonight.
Which is exactly why she drove away

Any guesses on who is the turncoat who let them know who & where the witness was? My guess is the bald deputy... he seemed like he was just waiting for something to happen so they could take the guy.

Great episode. That Amish girl is kinda cute, she caught my eye at the festival. Was surprised when she showed up at Hood's place and stripped eek.gif

Traumatic experience to have that biker gang shoot up your house and set it on fire.

That was not her first visit to Hood's loft. smile.gif

When Wink returned and started his BS, my wife turned to me and said "they're going to have to kill him". Interesting show to say the least.

They aren't making the main character an easy one to sympathize with.

I just watched the first six episodes and this show is AMAZING. The plot is a little absurd but the action, fight scenes, nudity, and sex scenes make it one of my new favorite shows.

I can't wait till the next episode.

That was pretty brutal of Hood to shoot that non-killer. I guess he had to go though, he could have been a problem later tongue.gif

Good episode.

Why did Carrie give Hood up to her father? So she can live a happy life?

Yeah, I believe so. She wants it to be husband and children only. She doesn't want Hood back in her life as he only brings crime and drama. I think she's out of the "crime game."

Make sense but I bet she's glad he got away and saved her daughter. I dont care much for her now. I did like her in Mind of the Married Man. cool.gif

Right. I could see that happening. Tomorrow night, Pizza, Beer, and Banshee! biggrin.gif Gotta control the beer though, no need to get wasted.

Edit: Hood is awesome. Possibly my favorite character this year.

Of course she is. Carrie lied about her age so Hood wouldn't put 2 and 2 together.

and Hood realized that from the very beginning episode.... It's why he takes very good care of her....

I got the impression that Hood basically put together Deva's paternity early on, but hasn't officially confronted Carrie about it yet.

Sorry Young C, we got home late and it will be at least tomorrow night for us to get to it but your comments do peak my interest smile.gif This show, outside of Sparticus and Walking Dead is one of our favorite guilty pleasures!

I am loving Banshee. I have a love-hate attitude about its over the top plot but that's OK. This week's show was great fun again, but a bit more over the top than average. Although the big fight scene between Carrie/Anastasia and Rabbit's thug henchmen was brilliantly choreographed, I couldn't help but think it a little silly. Even a well trained woman is not going to defeat a buff, 200 pound, killer in a fist fight if the guy is determined to kill her. Oh, well, it was as exciting as hell and made clear that Carrie is not afraid to kill if necessary so I'm not really complaining.

I enjoyed the dynamic between Kai and Rebecca. Their scene in a bedroom in Kai's house was terrific. At first I thought Kai might rape Rebecca, despite her being Kai's niece. But Kai then got control of himself and did the right thing. It's clear that Kai knew what had been going on with Lucas and Rebecca because he made clear to Rebecca that it had to stop.

Antony Starr's performances as Lucas Hood have really impressed me, as have those of scrumptious Ivana Milicevic as Carrie Hopewell. In fact, the entire cast has been terrific. I really like Kai's creepy helper, Burton, who looks like a bookkeeper but is a stone killer. Matthew Rauch has done a great job as Burton.

I agree with another poster's assessment that Banshee is as good as Strike Back and significantly better than Hunted. I'm looking forward to more.

I agree that Banshee is over the top but I guess that is one reason it is entertaining. Every episode up until this one ties up the storyline and by the end everyone can go back to their lives with no one the wiser. With what happened this episode no one can go back to normal ever again, especially Carrie but Hood's run as sheriff also seems in jeopardy.

I don't know what is going to happen now but it seems as though the dynamics of the show are changing rapidly and we are in for a ride.
