Hi All,
need some advice on which Receiver to go with. Both seem awesome. I have found the Yamaha for $300 cheaper.
I use my Home Theater system for mostly movies and streaming music.
I have a KEF KHT3000 system with a 9.2 speaker configuration.

thanks

Hi,
It is a very hard call between these two AV.
It seems that if you want more drive and your room is very big,i think Onkyo will be a better match.
But if you want the best DSP around with HD3 processor, better auto calibration, Front high+back high, better implementation for the high channels in the surround mode,Yamaha will be a better choice.
I think that you cant go wrong with one or another.
By the way...mine is Yamaha RX-A3020 and i love it.biggrin.gif
