Waiting on my new house to finish being constructed and in the mean time I'm making the wait seem worse by counting the minutes and planning for my theater room. I haven't posted in a while but I've upgraded a few things since my last thread here. I sold the TV and entertainment system, also upgraded the computer a bit as well.
Here is my idea so far but I don't know how well it will work. I plan on getting a fixed screen around 10 feet wide and possibly a cloth covering to black out the windows. I was thinking about adding a level for the rear seating but I'm not sure if I really have the space to allow room to walk on either side. May use a half wall around the back of the couch to add separation as well and an area to decorate but this might block the rear speakers. My long term goal is to replace the floor standing speakers with in wall speakers but I'm worried that since there is the master bedroom and one of my kids rooms on either side this might increase the noise traveling through the walls (hope someone with experience can inform me if this really is an issue).
