DVD Scaling

I was wondering what other members liked to use for DVD scaling on their PCs? I've set up MPC-HC with Madvr and LAVfilters following MindBomb's guide. I also use TMT5 with SimHD and WinDVD Pro11. I did a test with Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and I thought MPC and WinDVD and looked pretty good but I thought TMT5 with SimHD was a little lacking. I found some settings here at AVS that mentioned setting scaling to GPU and setting sharpness to 1. Are there better settings for SimHD? What's your favorite way to scale DVD on your PC/HTPC?

I have the Nausicaa DVD as well, it can benefit from final stage sharpening. I use MPC-HCs sharpen complex as a post scaling shader with LAV and MadVR

In order for this to work with MadVR, you need the latest released MPC-HC and the newer MadVR versions, the latest 85.7 has scaling performance improvements.

I don't know the versions I have but I just downloaded them this week so they should be the most recent. I'll check these settings. Thanks for the suggestion.

Could you give me a little more direction on where to make those changes?

Take a look here, just add the shaders per the instructions. MadVR and the latest MPC-HC will allow shaders, but nor when this article was written.
