I think this is probably a legit deal because the winter CES show will announce the new models on Jan 7th and it seems immediately after the new ones are announced the bottom falls out of previous year's prices, but then they're in limited supply. What they have are typically all they're going to get.

If shopping from Gadgetave.com please beware that they DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON ANY TELEVISIONS !!! According to their return policy, they claim that the chance of damage from mishandling in shipment is simply too great.

Even DOA requires contacting the manufacturer and working through a warranty claim process.
