Just replaced my old Sony 40KDLs2000 with an LG 42LM6200.
Love the new LG...except the glare. Thought all LCDs had the matte screens but I've since learned most are going back to glossy.
I understand the glossy provides better detail...but that's only a good thing if you can see it!
Sure I can close the blinds and turn off all the lights, but that doesn't sit well with the wife, and quite frankly I don't like sitting in a completely dark room either even though one wall is open to the kitchen and light comes in from there.
So looking at some aftermarket products. I absolutely do not want to put anything permanent on the screen. However I have found a few items I wonder if anyone has had any experience with. I simply want my new LG to look as good as my old Sony did.
One is the Viewguard LCD Anti-Glare Filter, the other is the TV Anti=Glare Protector.
Anyone have any experience with either one of those, or suggestions on any other aftermarket products?
