LTV-32w6 HDTV I cannot enable SPDIF Audio output

I have a 2006 LTV-32w6 Westinghouse TV that I want to connect to a Bose Solo audio system. I need to enable the SPDIF audio output on the TV, but my on-screen setup guide has no option to do that. Any advice?
