polk psw505 vs. bic f12 vs. bic pl200

Thread Starter
Hey guys trying to decide between these subs. Here are the prices I am able to get each sub for right now:
Polk psw505- $189
Bic f12- $170
Bic pl200- $200
Based on these prices which would you consider to be the best value.
Subwoofer will be equally used for both home theater and music.

According to BIC owners (consistently), the PL-200 is better than the F12. The PL-200 is almost certainly better than the Polk PSW505.

You can read excellent reviews by Josh Ricci of the Premier Acoustic PA-150 (~$425 - check threads how to get best price) and the BIC PL-200 (<$300 check threads on how to get best price) at www.data-bass.com that are two other highly recommended subs in this forum.

http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_12_2/polk-psw-505-subwoofer-4-2005.html - Ed Mullen review of 505, little output below 30-35 Hz but still may be reasonable for music and some HT situations. " As expected, room gain helped considerably to improve deep extension, with the Polk holding flat to about 25 Hz, and then dropping to –10 dB at 20 Hz" . Polk sub amps have generally been quite reliable.
