I can easily move my projector anywhere in the house and play a movie, any size I want. My old Sanyo PLV-Z4 (720P) seems sharper than my 40inch Sony flat panel we use in our living room. BluRay looks stunning on my 720p, but I'm getting an Epson 5020UBe anyway. We ordered it Dec. 12, 2012, and will get it the second half of January! The depth of the picture can't seem to be achieved on my flat panel. Besides, the way technology moves, nothing is "new" for more than a month, so we can never keep up with the innovations, just little jumps once in a while. I like the idea of a longer lasting bulb, with very little dimming over time. That, to me is more important than even 4K! I'd like to see the pico projectors produce what theater projectors can do, and use wireless signals to existing speakers I have in three of my rooms. Then, I wouldn't need any flat panels in the house at all!
