PS3 Splash screen color change?

Hi...I noticed that, for a couple of weeks now, the PS3 splash screen featuring the warning is now a very light grey. I haven't really paid attention to it because I normally turn the console on without the tv set on it's line input and after a few minutes click the PS button before switching over. But I thought it was in color. Is anyone else's the same? There are no problems with the console, but I am just wondering how long it's been this way.

The correct time is set, and the grey colored opening screen (with the user names) is there regardless of what time of day I turn on the console.

I just don't remember it being that color, which is why I wanted to know if others had the same.

Thank you all. Changing the Theme setting and rebooting didn't alter the color of the initial screen name view. The first time I observed it I got scared something was wrong. OMG, video output is in black 'n white! Good to know that it changes monthly-though it's still light grey as we enter January.

Yup, that's what I see. Thanks. Not a very inviting color to have appear, hope it changes soon.

And as of 9:30pm, the color has changed. The above photo from dannyday2-the top half is now a medium black.
