When I used to design custom systems to run at very high speeds to tackle problems that normal systems could not, they would give off a lot of heat. Inevitably the heat would cause faster wear and tear on the CPU's. At that point they would start to fail every now and again at certain basic arithmetic and start to introduce errors and become unstable. The only way to 'save' them was to increase the voltage to them to prevent the errors. However, increasing the voltage also raised the heat, so at that point we'd have to reduce the speed a tad to keep the system stable.
Does increasing the voltage as you describe come with any similar downsides?
important is that is have not done the adjustment on this Plasma!
i said it would be just one pot but it seems that you have two VS ADJ pots?
its just that every plasma almost behaves the same and the voltage regulators has identical names and controls the same stuff.
i used this adjustment on my Kuro with great result!
adjusting only VOL SUS in the servicemenu wasnt enough to get rid of the uneven wearout of the panel.
i know what you are talkning about with heat problems with increasing voltage.
both goes hand in hand
thats why i use Water Cooling on my PC
this VS adjustment is more a compensation for the aging of the panel
