Remember there is no reset button in the service menu. And as far as I know the reset to factor setting button in the user menu will not make any changes to the service menu.
SS: You are correct, I don't know for certain that this will not void the warranty, but I was assuming that one a) Did not mistakenly reset anything else in the service menu and b) that there is no tracking of consumer activity in the service menu. I shouldn't have been so bold as to make that absolute statement, and I thank Tom669 for the additional information on Sustain Voltage.
Sounds to me that the lower voltage may be a compromise between panel effectiveness and energy efficiency. Given the efforts to maintain "green" or "eco" standards this lower sustain voltage may be part of that compromise. Based on Tom's information, it sounds like a calibration re-check would be in order when changing to VSUS High.
I wonder if this will have a negative effect on panel life as well.
