My Onkyo TX-SR603 crapped-out, now it only makes a clicking noise?!

So we had the volume level at almost max with blasting music for hours then it just gave up. My SR603 has 7 years of good use, but I really hope I can fix it without spending more than 25% of the value of a new one. I had two 3" fans on top of it to help it cool, but this proved to be too much.

I opened it and I can see there's clicking coming from a black relay on the card where the 110v cable comes in.

Thoughts?

Anyone?

If you want to spend $100 trying to repair a 7yr old outdated receiver, then give er a shot.

Take out the relay, head down to an electronics shop and see if you can match it up. If that works, great. If not, then ???

Personally I wouldn't go any farther on a $400 receiver.

Exactly, I really dont want to spend more than $80-$100 if that. I'm only considering it because it"ll buy me more time and ones I buy a new one, Onlyo too since I like how easy they are to control, I'll use the older one for the kids TV.

I wrote Onkyo support but nothing yet. I also found an authorized place per Onkyo's page but it's about 60 miles from here. Not to be cheap, but I would rather have them give me a guesstimate by phone before heading out there.
