Component to HDMI Conversion and AVR-3806

Hi All,

I'm absolutely stumped here and hoping someone here can provide guidance and help. From a hardware perspective I've got the following:
Receiver: Denon AVR-3806
Cable Box: Motorola/Comcast DCX3200
Blue Ray Player: Magnavox NB500MG1F
Media Streaming: Roku 2 XD
TV: Sony 1080p TV(I don't have the model in front of me)

Everything is hooked up as follows:
Roku player to HDMI-1 input of AVR-3806
BlueRay Player to HDMI-2 input of AVR-3806
CableBox to Component-1 input of AVR-3806
AVR3806 HDMI-Out to Sony TV

I can't get the component to HDMI conversion of the receiver to work. I checked the user settings of the cable box and 1080p output is not enabled. 1080i, 720p, 480i, 480p are all enabled. All of these resolutions are supported by the receiver.

I also tried moving the cablebox to HDMI-2 and hooking up the blueray player using component-1 to HDMI and the component to HDMI conversion wouldn't work with the blueray player either.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what settings to change to get component to HDMI conversion to work or to alter my setup? Appreciate the help.
Dan

Did you assign the component inputs to the ones you expect? Do you hear audio on those inputs? Is the "Convert" feature turned on for each input, and for HDMI?

Bunch of AVR settings (see page 67-68 of the user manual).

Yes to all those questions. Component is assigned, I hear audio, and conversion is turned on. I'm really at a loss as to what it could be.
