DVD Player In Media Closet

Is there anyway to connect one DVD player to 2 different tvs? My current media closet has 2 seperate cable boxes connected to my two tvs via component cables. I had one tv hooked up to DVD player via a reciever.

Easiest way is a component video matrix switch. There may be cheaper models, I just searched quickly:

That will allow you to connect 4 sources to 2 TVs...

How are you handling remote control now? IR repeater or RF remote - you'd want to be able to switch sources and control the boxes and DVD player.

I'm using an IR remote(MX 900)...maybe I would be better served to buy another DVD player?

Well, depends on what you're trying to accomplish. You'll need two component video switches (Monoprice has great units for $20/each) to select between the cable box and the DVD player(s) for each TV. Plus a DVD player. If you can get a 4x2 component matrix for not much more money than that total, you'd have a better solution...

There's lot of component gear around - check eBay, too.
