i need help!!!

i have a samsung pdp 450 51" with two hdmi outputs. i have it connected to a mac desktop and use the tv as a monitor for the comp via hdmi.
i just got a samsung hw e450 soundbar and whooffer, it has one hdmi in and 1 hdmi out., aux, bluetooth set up. and a spot for optical cable

i cannot get sound out of the sound bar after numerous tries
. can anyone help???

thats the one thing im missing. an optical cable. i will pick one up today.

i unplugged everything. so nothing is connected right now. but usually i have an hdmi hook up from my imac to my tv. and another one hooked up from my tv to my ps3.

i even tried using the bluetooth option and connecting it to my imac but after all the steps it still says not connected.

do i need to have everything plugged in (both hdmi's, aux, and the optical cable) or are they just different kinds of ways to connect them?

after i pick up the optical cable what are the steps i need to take?
