JBL ES25 Center Channel vs. Yamaha NS-C444 Center Channel

Thread Starter
I'm currently upgrading my speakers for my Denon-1913. I had a Yamaha setup, and am changing everything over to the JBL ES series.

Currently I have:

Fronts: JBL-ES80's
Center: Yamaha NS-C444
Surrounds: JBL-ES-20's
Rears: JBL-ES-10's
Sub: JBL-ES-250

The Yamaha seems like a good speaker, but it's huge and doesn't sit right on my AV stand.

Any thoughts on the JBL-ES25 vs the Yamaha NS-C444? Should I make a switch or keep it?

If you like how the Yamaha speaker sounds and performs with your mains - and if you can get it to sit right on your AV stand - keep it. Otherwise, replace it with the ES25C, which appears to be the correct match to your mains.
