Yeah. Those are pretty........interesting. To say the least.

I'd actually like to hear how they sound and measure before passing judgment.

But I realize Axiom is the ID equiv of Definitive to many in these parts so I fully expect them to be trashed up and down before anyone even lays an ear on them.

There's something to be said for never turning a wrench- even if it costs more than some "agree" with- but I realize that too never fails to gain absolutely zero traction around here, so I wonder why these products are brought up in this forum in the first place, honestly. We all know they can be demolished in 4 days for $600. rolleyes.gifwink.gifbiggrin.gif

But I already have omni/dipole sound, from 10hz to about 1khz, so I don't need these... wink.gif

While I won't comment on that particular speaker lol, I currently own a full lineup and they are a great speaker for the money. Knowing what I know now, I would definitely build my own, but for most people who don't/won't go this route, they are a viable alternative.

I'd take a listen before jumping to conclusions about performance. wink.gif

Sorry but Def Tech is much better! I have owned the M80 system.

Do they deliver them right to your door in a white van? I thought stacking dome tweeters like that was a big no-no. "the amount of energy radiated into the room from 11 drivers will blow your mind!" is the funniest line I have read in a long, long time. biggrin.gif OK enough teasing. I know Canuc loudspeakers tend to sound good thanks to the NRC labs but wow that's a grand total of 6 Vortex ports for only $3,500 - I can only wish people wanted to buy my DIY gear - it's so ugly, nobody loves it but me. wink.gif My next DIY build is going to be a dipole design, and it will likely see light of day at a GTG and be measured and listened to. Wish me luck.

Getting serious now - which part of this chart is supposed to impress me? Why can't those twin tweeters hack it all the way up to 20K?

All joking aside, I'm curious as to what their DSP box really does.

Agreed the dsp board for the omni part may be the only thing to talk about here. But I'm more entertained by eminence d-fend videos. http://www.eminence.com/d-fend/
I'll let this thread die as my meds are wearing off and I'm feeling better. Been trying to get over some nasty flu/cold in the sandbox.

After drivers dying and replacing them, then trying to sell all of it on ebay. Could never sell the towers even at half price so gave them away to my bro n law for a case of beer. M60v3 full lineup and easily replaced them with eD A6 towers, surrounds and A2-300 sub. meh live and learn
