Can black acoustic sponge tiles be died to white?
I'm concidering appling some acoustic treatment behind (for starters) the front main speakers however I prefer a white panel on my white wall.
1.would spary painting cover the sponges open pours and ruin the sound absorbtion effect?
2.would soaking in chorlrox cause the sponge to deteriate?
any tips besides making my own fiberglass panels (I'm not interested in small particals of fiberglass in my breathing air) is appreciated.
