I was looking for a new smart tv but all i can find are 32 and 42 inch.
Is there a reason why 37 inches are less common?
Because 37" TVs are less common. It's all a matter of economics and what the majority of the TV-buying public wants. I have a 37" TV that I actually watch more than my 40" or 46" ones just because of the convenience of where it's located and hate to see that size being phased out.
I too am looking for a 37 inch TV and am getting very frustrated. I am remodeling my kitchen and 37 inches is the perfect size. A 32 inch tv would look very small on my wall. It seems like no one makes a decent 37 inch set anymore. The Panasonic TC-L37E5 looks like a pretty decent set, but I don't really want to spend more than $500. The rest of the 37 inch sets out there are either made by crappy companies or are have been discontinued. Is anyone planning on releasing a 37 inch set as part of their 2013 lineup? Any chance of a price drop on the panasonic?

37" tvs in general are rare....normally goes from 32 to 42.....there are expections to the rule....just get a big tv already...or get a dumb tv and get like a boxee, roku, ps3...etc for your media streaming...
I already have a big tv in my living room. The TV I am looking for is my kitchen, so a 42 inch tv would be overwhelming. The TV would be purely for TV watching, no streaming or video games. Why is this so damn difficult?!!?
I was looking for 37's as well. Just bought the samsung UN40EH5300 smart Tv for about $550. About 36.5 wide, worked for me. Couldn't find any other smart Tv that size near this price. Vizio also has a new one for about 450 with smart features.
How is that Samsung? I was looking for something a bit thinner as I will be mounting it in a high traffic area of my kitchen. Samsung used to make a very thin 37 incher but it doesnt seem to be available anymore.
What Vizio model are you referring to? The Vizio website is terrible!
