pioneer elite SC-61

I am looking into buying a really nice receiver I really like th pioneer elite SC-61. I know iyits not the best of the elite series, but its the best one in my price range. Does anyone have this amp? Or do you think its a pretty good one? Id really appreciate your feed back and any info you can give me on this amp. Thanks!

I just got mine last night, still have ALOT of tinkering to do but so far I'm very impressed.
The sound coming out of my 4ohm speakers brings a smile to my face.

Nice! Im really glad you like it! I read Al the specs and ir sounds like its awesome. It looks really good too. What speakers did you go with?

I have Axiom m80's with an M22 as my center and Velodyne dps12 as my sub

Not sure If i'll leave the m22 as a center and just buy another one to complete my surround or get a dedicated surround speaker.

I ordered the pioneer 1222 yesterday in which exactly tbe sc61 non elite version. Im still trying to find out a thread of the 1222 but i think both the sc61 and 1222 owners can post here their impressions and experience from both receivers. If you want to save some money you can get the 1222 for $599 at newegg.

I will stop using my denon 3311 for this 1222. Im so excided. I auditioned the 1021 yesterday and the audio is really jawdropping so i cant imagine the sc61 / 1222 which use class D3 amps!!!!!

Does anyone knows if the 1222 use same hdmi boards than 1122? Or does the 1222 use similar boards from the sc61?
