My own minimalistic movie posters - Page 2

The Jedi poster kind of looks like a fish head in profile (facing left). You may want to reposition the "eye" or the "mouth" to avoid that.

It was mentioned to me somewhere else. I think the full size image doesnt seem to reflect this, but I might omit the so-called 'mouth'

Wow. Beautiful. Definitely will order the NH and Jedi posters one day. Haven't even framed my ESB one yet. I can't find a frame I like and don't know where to look for styles that fit a movie theater look. Don't want a cheap looking frame.

Shouldn't the first one be: STAR WARS: A New Hope ... and not just STAR WARS?

I think the re-issues/special editions became known as "A New Hope". I'm not a fan....;-)

Correct. As released in 1977, the movie was only known as "Star Wars." The "Episode IV: A New Hope" credit was added to the prologue scroll for the reissue in 1980 to promote Empire Strikes Back.

Been a while since I put anything up, here's a sneak peek of what's to come in the next couple of days...

Very happy with how this turned out - pretty much exactly as it was conceived through to execution.

Where did you find those frames and were they expensive? If these posters will be in a dedicated room with no light do I need to worry about acid free and all that?

The actual print should look more like the pics below. Not sure why the above image looks a little washed out...

This is amazing. I'm torn between Inglorious Basterds and Dredd for my next poster purchase.

I know it's an older film but is there any chance you're working on or will be working on a poster for "Heat"?

Gday mate,
Those frames are just the standard IKEA ones, "Ribba' I think. Very well priced and great quality.
Have no probs doing other movies - the only bottleneck is coming up with an idea that justifies it!

Be great to see some pics (here or PM) of the prints you already grabbed mate.

I'm also interested in the 007 posters - specifically skyfall and casino royale.

what size are these posters when you print them out and are you able to ship them to the US?

Planning some 007 in the next couple of months. These images are mostly about 7000-10000 pixels along the longest edge, at 300dpi, so can print very large. For US availability please PM.

Final HEAT poster for now:-

Getting close to the end now....

ATTACK OF THE CLONES

Looks great, however, correct me if I'm wrong, but that silhouette looks suspiciously like Boba (one blaster/rifle) and not Jango (pistols)

Although looking harder, there is no cape like Boba?
