Hey all I looked around a bit and could not find thread already. I just ordered some x41 from 1saleaday.com for 54 bucks not a bad deal.

I have my xbox hooked to a reciever via hdmi. I cant seem to figure out in my head how it will stay connected via hdmi and have the headset work.

Also to anyone with this set up how easy is it to switch from headset to my surround sound set up

You need the xbox audio adapter. It plugs in below the hdmi connector and has rca and optical out.

..and because its a direct line from xbox to the headset module it runs independant of your yamaha setup.
