Sharing Wireless Connection Between TV and Blu-Ray player with ethernet

My smart TV is wireless connected to my home internet network. Is it possible for my Blu-ray player to access the same network if it is plugged into the TV with an ethernet cable?

I am using a Samsung BD-E5500 blu-ray player with a Samsung PN51E550D1F TV.

I dont believe any TV allows sharing of its Internet capabilites like that.....

No, TVs don't have network hub abilities built-in. I'd suggest that you instead hard wire both the TV and BluRay player.

Buy a cheap GB switch with 5 or 8 ports and sit it behind the tv. Run one cable from you router to the switch. That way you can hardwire every internet device in you lounge room to you home network. This will give you much better quality over all and wont clog you wifi for really portable things like phones and tablets.
