Ok we'll see. I did own an HC4000 for about a year so I still have some memory of its sharpness (Used with an HTPC so am used to what it was like with text) .. And yes I remember it as being reasonably sharp but not Perfect. Ill let you know how it compares on Monday when I get the HC8000D.
