Audio Physic Scorpio II with Luxman SQ-38U - Page 2

Thanks for the detailed answer!
I accept that sound which is now!
But I as well as you decided to try more powerful lamps instead of EL34
I have Tannoy Stirling SE and now have deep detailed sounding with air top
This month I want to try to hear to them together with Tannoy ST 200
I agree with you and probably I will try to change preintensifying lamps and four main
I want to follow your example and to pass to Tung Sol
Whether the truth I know correctly it I do? ) ) ) )

You have a very sensitive loudspeaker, so I don't see any reason to try more powerful tubes. If your Luxman can drive the 10inch coaxial woofer driver then there is no reason to try another power tube.

Any way... Tung sol gave me better bass, better and more airy highs gith greater detail and transparency. Also mids were improoved. Before they were a bit poor and laid back but with Tung sol they became more reach and detailed with more harmonics and better expression if I can use this word. But have in mind that if you are satisfied there is ni reason for tube rolling. Make your mind first on what you want, then read in the internet tube reviews to take an idea for the character of each tube, make up your mind on what to choose to make the change once.

Thanks for clever council!

I and itself already understood that now it will be unnecessary work on replacement of lamps!

You shouldn't look for the best from that чтоуже well)))
After all now I have fine sounding and really why to change it
Can be then.....

Thank you once again for your answers and councils
