The imax projection is not like true imax. The rest of the screens vary in size sharpness and clarity. I find the smaller screens to be more detailed while the larger ones to be very blurry and more spacious in surround sound. What sound system does amc in rockaway use for its 15 screens? I know the imax is 5.1 while the rest is 6.1 since amc installed dolby ex processors since its opening more than six years ago. The digital preshow has been there since 2006 when it was shown before a film print.
