You can’t send someone to prison if you can’t prove they did it, and the prosecution couldn’t prove their case, which is why the other two were acquitted. Had Ray not struck a plea deal he would have also been acquitted. Like it or not that is the way the system works. I would rather see someone who the court couldn’t convict go free, than send someone who is innocent to prison. There are lots of questions about the incident that leave you scratching your head, but it’s over.
