I'm planning to build a subwoofer system to my excellent CBT36 speakers soon. I want the flexibility of having something that can work well from about 20-200 Hz. This is a dedicated two channel setup and I will use two units because of high cross-over.
I wonder if anyone has experience building towers and if they have measured an improvement with stacked drivers vertically or not. Just more gain isn't interesting, but I would like to see an improvement in the frequency response and preferable also look at the time domain (waterfall).
