I've been watching the Sharp 70's since last year. I was debating buying one in 2011, but I wanted to see what 2012 would bring. Sadly, Sharp dropped Full Array LED in favor of Edge-Lit LED and I've been kicking myself ever since.

I found a LC70LE733 refurbished TV for $1750 from a reputable dealer. They offer 1 year parts and labor from a third party for free.

I don't know a lot about refurbished TV's, but the Full Array vs Edge Lit LED was a deal breaker on buying a 2012 Sharp 70" model. And right now, the 80's are outside my budget.

So, would you buy the refurbished 2011 at that price or opt for the newer non-refurbished model instead? Why or Why Not?
