Wall mounting Klipsch RB-51

I am planning on getting a klipsch system for my in process theater room.

Right now, I am planing on RB-61's for LR, RC-62 for center, and RB-51 for surround and rear. I already have an SVS sub. Powered by an older Denon 4308.

However, my plan has hit a snag. Everything is going to be wall mounted, which is fine for the 61 and 62, however, the 51 is rear ported, which is always a pain when mounting. I know about the 3x port rule, but I also noticed the RB-51's has a mounting key hole which would typically only be used with a flush mounting position. Anyone have any feedback on how the 51's could be mounted. As I said they are being used as surrounds and will be crossed over at 80Hz, so a slight loss in bass isn't a big deal. Can I close the port all together?

Many ported speakers come with a bung to plug the speaker port. If those didn't come with one you can fashion one with some stiff foam. Run your room correction in the AVR so it can compensate for the low frequency being higher than it was and you should be good to go. As long as the surrounds can respond to 100hz and above you should be fine. Very low frequencies from 120hz and up can cause the subwoofer to become localized - meaning the sound emanating from it can be heard coming from the direction of the sub. This is what makes the HTIB crap IMO. And why you want the surrounds to have at least 100hz response.

I have the same issue with the rb51ii. I'm planning to use pinpoint am40 mounts. Will these mounts fit the rb52ii? These mounts will not cause the speaker to be flush against the wall so the rear port won't be blocked. Please confirm if this will work
