So the simple fact is Samsung is flat out lying, the small possibility that this new interface requires more processing is total ******** and will run perfectly fine on two cores. 300 dollars for a software update....
+1, I have the F7100 and its has a dual processor.
I have Smart Hub 2.0, S-Recommendation, The Touch Screen Remote, Cinema Black, Voice Control and the option for Gesture Control (with an added webcam).
This HDTV also is cloud-free as (Samsung stated at the VE Shootout that) they now separate and shield the electronics boards that caused heat from the panel.
Samsung also greatly improved the uniformity to make banding negligible.
