For those of you who own a Sharp TV, I recommend getting the warranty directly from Sharp. It's likely to be easier and more efficient, and a lot cheaper
The price depends on your unit and its price. I have the LC-70LE857U, for which I paid $2,699.99. I purchased the 3-year warranty, which goes into effect when the 1-year original warranty expires. There's no deductible, it's in home,
and they'll replace the unit if they can't fix it (up to the purchase price). Thus, I'm covered for 4 years for a mere $179
This beats any store purchase, which often comes from a general purpose outfit without specific Sharp experience and [sometimes] questionable ethics. I think BB is a step above that, though, but the price is still high for what you get...Edited by georgecortes - 7/6/13 at 1:48pm
