I had some time this afternoon, so I tested 1:1 pixel matching on the H6510BD and did not find any abnormalities. Here's the details:Projector:
OPPO BDP-83 Blu-ray player (Firmware BDP83-40-0925)Output:
1080p output over HDMITest material:
Digital Video Essentials HD Basics Blu-ray, 1:1 pixel clock & phase patternResults:
YCbCr 4:4:4 1:1 scan correct
YCbCr 4:2:2 1:1 scan correct
RGB Video 1:1 scan correct
RGB PC 1:1 scan correct
In all modes I found I was able to obtain 1:1 pixel matching by using either the "Auto" or "Underscan" settings on the HDMI Scan Info control. Interestingly, I found that "Auto" would default to about 3% overscan using a different player (Panasonic DMP-BDT310) but "Underscan" still gave me 1:1 matching. This sounds like a player-projector interaction quirk rather than a pure projector quirk, however, as I haven't noticed this behavior on any other projectors.
Since my test essentially says "results as expected" I won't be editing the review to comment on the issue.
