This is getting really annoying now.
A couple days ago I said there was a firmware upgrade and hopefully this would fix issues.
I used an ethernet cable to connect the tv to upgrade the software (as the wireless connection no longer works from the previous mandatory upgrade) and when I did it said I was already upgraded to version 2.72?!?!?
There was no download, no reset so I do not understand how the tv thinks it upgraded to that version without the download.
So now I wonder if updating it via usb would solve this. Problem is I don't have a usb key that is under 2 gigs. You ask why under two gigs? Well in order to upgrade the firmware via usb you need a usb key that is capable to formatting to FAT not FAT32.
I do not know if partitioning a usb drive will make the tv able to detect the partition. All these obstacles!
I used an 8 GB USB stick from PNY to upgrade my firmware in my 60ST60 ... the TV had no problem reading the stick ... which is formatted to FAT32, the way it came off the shelf. I copied the file over from a Windows 64-bit system on which I had initially downloaded the zip file to and extracted onto.
