Used Benq w6000 with new lamp, or new hc4000?

Is there a big difference in image quality between the 2 projectors? The Benq will not be under warranty, buying from craigslist. But the seller said he will give me a new lamp when purchased. It currently has the old lamp in there, so would that be an issue to detect any problems with the projector? Are there any known issues with this pj? What other things should i look out for when buying a used projector? Thanks

I would buy the new Mits. You will be getting a very nice projector, brand new, 2 year warranty. This is a no brainer to me.

But is the w6000 not the same or better image quality, and a lot brighter? My only concern with the hc4000 is that its not super bright, and after about 1000 hours, it will be even dimmer

I've never compared the 2 projectors, but I think the W6000 is brighter. It all depends on screen size and how much ambient light you have.

Electronic products generally do not recommend to buy second-hand, it is best to buy a new one 1.gif
