The S590 has HDMI plus a composite video output and analog stereo audio outputs, plus both coax and optical digital audio outputs.
The UK model of the S5100 has only HDMI plus a coax digital audio output. (I haven't seen the U.S. model's manual.)
Both players have network and USB connections.
In other words, so far as the functionality you claim to want, they're the same, since you need to use HDMI to transport SACD audio digitally.
If you want quality multichannel analog audio outputs, that's another matter entirely. You need to consider spending more than twice as much for a Panasonic DMP-BDT 500 (~$250) or another factor of two for an Oppo (~$500 or $1000).
